Dorothy Miller Sengerhausen was born Nov 19, 1919 in Charco,
Goliad County, Texas to Jacob Henry and Birdie Carter Miller. Dorothy was the second of four daughters.
She met and married her beloved Eddie in 1937 in San
Antonio, TX. Nana, as so many people
called her, loved to tell jokes and bake cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 49
years, Edwin A. Sengerhausen, infant son, “Little Eddie”, and one sister, Lavada Miller Nichols, and
son-in-law William (Bill) Jones. She is survived
by her daughter, Nancy Jones Trapani and husband A.G. of New Braunfels, two
granddaughters, Lori Jones Strand and husband Erik of Orinda, Ca, Candace Jones
Norris and husband Donald of Elgin, TX and sisters Betty Miller Schultz and
husband William of Schertz, TX and Sally Miller Ogden of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by six great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, Jan 13 at
Miller Creek Cemetery, Johnson City, TX.
